Where does the time go???

I merely blink my eyes and an entire week has passed!
And I am several days overdue in picking my giveaway winner!

Thank you so much to the 41 people who entered my giveaway!
It was so fun to read your responses about my painted tin box.
I loved your ideas as to its use: matches, spices, buttons, pictures, cards/poker chips/dice, game box complete with pencil and paper, cigarettes and ashtray, money, or a box for an army officer. My favorite response came from Lady Locust - a box in which to keep emergency chocolates well organized! That is my kind of box!
I guess we will never know the true original use for this box, but I will enjoy it still!

Using random.org to select the winner, it selected #9 - Jonette T.!
Congratulations Jonette! Unfortunately, you are a no-reply blogger so I am unable to contact you.
Please send an email to me at pgagliardi9@hotmail.com with your mailing address and I will send your winnings on their way.

You may be wondering about the pictures in this post...
Mom and I were able to attend a few of the central Illinois primitive shows last week
and these were random items that caught my eye...

I'll have more to share about our time together in the next several posts.
Everytime we go to these shows, there is one item that catches our eye in booth after booth...
This time it was:

childrens shoes!
So sweet and sentimental.
I love the red ones, but those seem to be the most expensive, of course ;)

I hope to be back before another week passes
and I hope to hear from Jonette soon!

For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.
~Ephesians 1:15-16

Blessings, Patti

Oh, Patti, that quilt is a stunner. I would crawl beneath it in a heartbeat. I'm also in love with the small wooden carrier. At first, I thought it was filled with individually wrapped chocolates. Sadly, they don't make ornaments like that anymore, but we always have antiquing. :-) That's where I recently found my own small wooden tray. I just love them and think I will fill mine with seasonal smalls.
